My personal code of ethics that guides my professional practice and interactions with clients.

  • I dedicate my professional practice to the optimum health and well-being of all my clients and myself.
  • I provide non-sexual, professional, therapeutic results to all my clients.
  • I maintain a safe, warm, clean, comfortable, private environment for clients in the giving and receiving of services and information that promotes optimum health and well-being.
  • I protect the confidentiality and personal boundaries of clients, unless in doing so may bring harm to the client or myself.
  • I promise to clearly explain all the policies and fees with clientele.
  • I encourage clear and honest communications and dialogue, seek suggestions and constructive criticisms, and discuss concerns in a professional manner.
  • I am a student and an educator in the holistic health industry so that I can increase personal and public awareness of the benefits of services I provide.
  • I constantly expand my knowledge and skill base through continuing educational activities and critical reflection of experiences to nurture my lifelong learner journey of optimum health and to incorporate appropriate changes to my professional work.
  • I abide by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork’s NCBTMB Code of Ethics and NCBTMB Standards of Practice, the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals’ ABMP Code of Ethics, National Academy of Sports Medicine’s NASM Code of Professional Conduct, and International Coaching Federation’s Code of Ethics.
  • I constantly strive to conduct myself in a manner that demonstrates integrity, commitment, and honor that positively reflects on the holistic health industry that I represent.
